Billie Bell enjoys helping children discover and enjoy music as they learn rhythm, pitch and harmony through movement, singing, and playing pitched and non-pitched percussion instruments.
Billie's experience includes 20+ years teaching private music lessons and 5 years teaching music in private schools for ages 3 through 12. She demonstrates a diverse set of musical skills as Music Director and Organist at First Congregational Church in Kittery, ME and playing keyboards for rock bands.
Lifelong study includes Orff Schulwerk Certifications for Levels I, II, and III from the San Francisco International Orff Program, Master Certificate in Theory, Harmony and Ear Training and Specialist in Keyboard Styles from Berklee College of Music, studies at the University of Hawaii in Piano and Brigham-Young University-Hawaii in Montessori education.
